Entry in to the South Wales Rugby Festival on both days.
3 nights’ self-catering accommodation in a choice of holiday park (depending on availability).
A return shuttle bus service will pick you up from your accommodation base, and drop you off at the rugby festival venue approximately 1 hour before your kick off time. When all of your age group are ready to depart the rugby festival venue, please alert a miTour member of staff and they will arrange your transportation back to the holiday park.
Every person staying at the holiday park will receive an entertainment pass that can be used to access all on-site entertainment.
Every child playing in the event will receive a high-quality medal for their participation.
After months of fundraising, arranging tour kits and generally getting excited, it’s time embark on your annual rugby tour.
Whether you are arriving by land, sea or air a friendly member of the miTour team will be on hand to welcome you to your chosen accommodation. Having received the keys to your home for the next few days, you’ll be free to enjoy the extensive facilities available at your holiday park and relax into your surroundings ahead of a weekend of rugby action.
It’s the children’s time to shine as the South Wales Rugby Festival kicks off at the impressive fields of Whitland RFC.
Your tour shuttle bus will collect your group from the holiday park to arrive at the festival site in plenty of time for your teams first kick-off. Your team will compete in the pool stages of the competition while the adults soak up the unique atmosphere of a miTour festival, and enjoy the hospitality of the host club.
Once your games are done for the day the tournament shuttle will take you on the short trip back to your holiday park, where you can enjoy the rest of the evening and plot your team’s tactics for finals day tomorrow!
Depending on the age group, your team will take part in either a round-robin (U7-U11) or waterfall (U12 & U13) type competition, U14 and upwards usually play a knock-out format.
Presentations occur after your final game of the day, all players receive a high quality participation medal.
After presentations, it's time to head back to your holiday park to enjoy the park entertainment after an exciting 2 days of rugby fun.
Sadly, it’s time to say goodbye for another year as you make your way back to your club, no doubt with memories that will last a lifetime!
