After months of fundraising, arranging tour kits and generally getting excited, it’s time to embark on your football tour.
Whether you are travelling by land, sea or air you will arrive in London and check in to your accommodation base. Having settled into your room it’s time to explore your surroundings and familiarise yourself with all that London has to offer.
In the evening, you will be warmly welcomed at the opening ceremony where you can mingle with teams from around the World and scope out the opposition for the days ahead.
It’s time for the team to shine as the Inaugural London Cup kicks off at the fantastic Brunel University playing fields.
If you’re staying at one of our hotels then your tour shuttle bus will collect your group to ensure you arrive at the festival site in plenty of time for your teams first kick-off. If you chose to stay at our University accommodation your group will take the short walk to the playing fields.
Thursday and Friday will see the U11 to U19 Boys and the U12, U14 and U19 Girls compete in the pool stages of the competition, while the rest of the group soak up the unique atmosphere of a miTour event.
Once your games for the day are finished, the shuttle bus will take you back to your hotel, or you’ll take the short walk back to your University accommodation where you are free to explore the sights and sounds of London.
Friday sees the U11 to U19 Boys and the U12, U14 and U19 Girls continue their pool stage matches of the competition.
Enjoy the evening at your accommodation base or visit one of the many London landmarks.
Saturday sees the U7 to U10s Boys and Girls teams joins the competition with their group matches kicking off.
For the U11 to U19 Boys and the U12, U14 and U19 Girls it’s time to get serious as the knockout matches commence.
Sunday is finals day for all participants where the champions will be crowned.
The U7 to U10s Boys and Girls teams will join the U11 to U19 Boys and the U12, U14 and U19 Girls, taking part in knockout matches to determine the winners. After your final game of the tournament all teams will take part in a presentation where you will receive your medal and trophy for the winners!
Then you’ll head back to your accommodation base for your final night in London.
Sadly, it’s time to say goodbye and to the make your way back home with memories of your visit to London that will last a lifetime!
