Kia Ora - Welcome to Auckland and New Zealand! You will be met by your Tour Guide at Auckland International Airport after clearing customs and immigration, and collecting your bags. Depending on your arrival time, there may be time for a sight-seeing tour of Auckland City that will include the Harbour Bridge and views from Mt Eden.
Delve into New Zealand’s sporting history with a behind-the-scenes guided tour of Eden Park Stadium, before your first match against a local Kiwi team this afternoon.
Today we journey South to Rotorua – the cultural and geothermal hub of New Zealand. On the way we’ll stop at the Hobbiton Movie Set for a tour of the real Middle Earth! This evening in Rotorua we are treated to a very special cultural experience, including traditional performances, and a delicious Hangi dinner.
Challenge yourself this morning with a high intensity training session at the NZ Sports Academy. We then make our way further South, towards the picturesque lakeside town of Taupo. On the way, we stop to explore Wai O Tapu - a natural geothermal wonderland.
This morning we make a visit to the impressive Huka Falls, followed by a chance to relax in the natural hot springs nearby. Spend the afternoon at a local primary school hosting your own coaching session with their netball team!
Continuing our journey Southbound today, we make our way to Palmerston North, stopping on the way for a thrilling white water rafting expedition on the Tongariro River. On arrival in Palmerston North, we visit the New Zealand Rugby Museum where we learn about the country’s national sport and its rich history.
Start the day off with a warm up training session before your next game of the tour, against a local team.
Continuing South today we make our way to capital city Wellington. On arrival, we’ll take a sight-seeing tour of the city, finishing up at the countries national museum, Te Papa – home to a wealth of fascinating exhibits and artefacts.
This morning is your final game of the tour, against a local team. The rest of the day is yours to explore the area further – take a walk along the waterfront to the beach, check out the vibrant café and music scene, or get some last-minute souvenir shopping done.
After breakfast head to the airport, where your trip of a lifetime sadly comes to an end. Time to bid farewell to your tour guide, and depart New Zealand with lifelong memories!
