Questions teams ask us

Quick answers before you get in touch.

How much is the deposit?
Our initial deposit is £40 per person for UK-based tours and £75 per person for European tours. Some tours also need a second interim deposit a few months later, and we confirm the date when you book. Your final balance is due at least 12 weeks before you travel, and we send your final invoice around 16 weeks out. Deposits are non-refundable. Everything is set out in our booking terms and conditions.
Do group leaders get free places?
Leaders travel in good company. We reward the people who bring a squad together with free places on many of our tours. How many your group earns depends on the tour and the size of your party, so tell us your plans and we will show you exactly what your leaders will earn.
Can you arrange travel as well as accommodation and fixtures?
Yes, all of it. Coaches, ferries, flights and airport transfers, planned together with your accommodation and fixtures as one itinerary. One team looks after every leg, from your clubhouse door to the final whistle and all the way home.
What size of group can you take?
Whatever size you are. We work with groups of every size, from a single team to a whole club with several age groups and families travelling alongside. Tell us how many are coming and we will shape the tour around you.
How far ahead should we book?
The earlier the better. For long-haul tours we suggest booking 24 to 18 months ahead, and for everything else 12 to 9 months. Booking early gives you the pick of dates, fixtures, accommodation and travel, and plenty of time to get everyone organised.
Is my booking financially protected?
Yes. miTour is ATOL protected (12591) and an ABTA member (Y6788). If your tour includes flights, it is covered by the ATOL scheme and you will receive an ATOL Certificate. Package holidays without flights are protected by a bond held by ABTA. Festival entry on its own is not a package, so it is not covered by this protection.
